Terms of Trading
MatchingEvery effort will be made to colour match varying widths but an exact match cannot be guaranteed. All pattern matching between widths of carpet are subject to B.SI tolerance of 1.25% either way (B.S. 3655 clause 3) as are carpet widths themselves.
DoorsAny doors that require easing are the client’s responsibility
PipesThe Company does not accept responsibility for any under floor pipes that may be punctured during an installation nor any claim resulting thereof.
FurnitureAll rooms are required to be cleared of furniture as no liability can be accepted.
DeliveryWhilst the Company will use all reasonable endeavour to keep to any stated delivery date, it accepts no liability whatsoever for any delay howsoever caused.
ExistingFitted Carpets Existing fitted carpets that require uplifting prior to new being fitted shall be chargeable.
GoodsGoods held for 28 days after delivery, after which balance will be deemed due.
ShadingThis tendency in inherent in all pile fabrics and as such cannot be accepted as a manufacturing fault.
Re-stretchingAll carpets and vinyl’s will be re-stretched should it prove necessary once only. Any subsequent re-stretching will be chargeable at an agreed fate on a pro forma basis.
CancellationNo orders may be cancelled once the carpet has been cut, unless by written agreement, whereupon any monies paid shall be forfeited.
Payment50% deposit upon placing of order, the balance being payable C.O.D to our fitter upon completion. Title to the goods shall only pass to the purchaser upon payment in full of the purchase price.
FaultsWe are not liable for any faults that may occur during carpet manufacturing, although we will endeavour to communicate with the relevant manufacture to resolve any problems to the best of our ability.
